Multi-modal transport for heavy industry
Knowing that we have a huge inventory of heavy-lift equipment and transportation at our disposal, our client asked us to plan and execute the end-to-end logistics for fully commissioned, rail ready locomotives – manufactured overseas.
Ironicaly, these locomotives are built in a non-UK rail gauge country. This means they cannot be transported by rail. But with the right gantries, tandem heavy lifts, haulage partners, and our own fleet of flat-top barges – this is not a problem.
